Morocco Cuisine Class Tour

Moroccan cuisine is one of most delicious foods in the world and a culinary star in North Africa.  It is influenced by multi cultures and typically a mix of Berber, Arab, French, Middle Eastern, Jewish and Mediterranean tastes. The most famous Moroccan dishes include tagine - slow-cooked Moroccan stew in red clay cooking pot;  couscous -meats stewed along with a variety of vegetables and steamed couscous grains; pastilla -a savory pie of chicken that is cooked with saffron, ginger, pepper, cinnamon and covered by crispy warqa pastry;  harira -a typical heavy soup; chebakia - pretzel-shaped dough deep-fried, soaked in honey and sprinkled with sesame seeds etc. Moroccan food is always super flavorful and colorful, using fresh, locally grown and homemade spices, herbs or ingredients.

Discovering local foods and spice markets is a fun way to explore Moroccan culture. Our unique culinary cooking tour not only treats your taste buds with delicious Moroccan foods, but also engages yourself by taking part in cooking classes to learn classical Moroccan cuisines.  Different from many other cooking classes, we will bring you to Moroccan families to have authentic Moroccan experience.

Total duration of the tour is approximately 4 hours from shopping ingredients to finishing dining. It can be booked as a cooking class only or part of longer tour packages. Contact us for more details.

Morocco Hammam Tour

Moroccan Hammam is a public steam room where Moroccan go to clean themselves. Baths are separated by gender and many locals will spend hours there chatting with friends. Now this ancient practice of rejuvenation has become a special and unique experience for foreigners. It is often seen on many “must-do-lists” for tourists.

People coming to Hamman are generally asked to take off all their clothes except covering the private areas. After 10-15 minutes in the heat and moisture, your skin has softened enough for exfoliation. If you want, the attendant will come with kese, the special mitten used to scrub off the dead cells of your skin. Then you can continue your showering and shampooing.  After it, you will feel so refreshed and relaxing.

There is a wide range of Hammams in Moroccan cities. Most hammams offered to tourists are more spa-like hammams which do not differ that much from spas elsewhere in the world. Our hammam tour will bring you to a neighbourhood hammam that will let you experience an authentic Moroccan hammam.

Total duration of the tour is approximately 2 hours. It can be booked as a Hammam tour only or part of longer tour packages. Contact us for more details.
